Here's a thread for the ladies to discuss anything that relates to women and swimming. For example, feel free to discuss how disgustingly ugly fastskins are, how the "curse" can kill a meet, how suits don't fit, how swimming wrecks your hair, how hormones unhinge you, etc.
1. Is everyone wearing their wedding/engagement ring(s) during practice or meets?
I don't usually wear my jewelry in the pool. My "wedding" ring and another ring I wear regularly are cheap silver and would turn black. I have a third ring that is yellow gold with a small collection of stones in a setting, and I wear that in the pool sometimes if I can't get it off my finger. (The knuckle it has to go over is bigger than it used to be.) So far, no damage. I see a lot of simple gold bands in the pool, though.
