Hi--
Anyone else (who's not in their 20's) ever swim USS meets? I entered one this weekend and am now nervous that I will (at 41) stick out like a sore thumb. My times should be somewhere in the middle of the pack but I'm wondering how dorky I will feel walking up to the blocks. Just curious to hear about anyone else's USS swimming experiences...

If the meet is a senior meet age doesn't matter. You just have to make the qualifying time. If not, the top age group will usually be "and over," such as "13 and over" or "15 and over." Odds are you'll be twice the age of everyone else in your heat, but you do meet the "and over" criterion!
