Anyone swim with foot fracture?

Let's just add to my misery having to swim indoors after a glorious summer of outdoor swimming--I walked into a box the first day of my vacation and fractured a bone under the baby toe. It hurt to do breaststroke and backstroke kicks but not that bad--fins actually helped stabilize my foot. I can't run (also run and play tennis) or walk or play tennis, or use stairmaster. Any one have this problem? Did you/would you continue to swim? I don't want to prolong the healing process but I WILL JUST LOSE IT if I can't even swim.

Kiefer lycra fin sox will keep a taped foot pad or just tape on your foot in place! I use them from time to time to keep a taped protective pad over the balls of my feet if they are sore (apparently as you get older, you lose natural fat pads on the balls of your feet - just great!). A pair of fin sox costs about $7.95 and lasts for many months. Yup, getting older is a ^&*#$@. Same thing with me from tennis - sorry feet on the bottoms. I will check it out - thanks.
