I had a hernia operation two days ago. Ouch.
I asked the surgeon when can I get back to the pool and he said in a month. This seemed a bit draconian and I thought he was covering his :mooning:
I asked a nurse and she said two weeks which seems reasonable.
I wanted to ask: do any of you guys have experience returning to swimming after a hernia operation? Any tips for me?

I am now 5 weeks after my operation. I began swimming again 25 days post. I have been building back very gradually. So far so good. I hope to be totally back to my pre-operation level in about 2 weeks.
