I had a hernia operation two days ago. Ouch.
I asked the surgeon when can I get back to the pool and he said in a month. This seemed a bit draconian and I thought he was covering his :mooning:
I asked a nurse and she said two weeks which seems reasonable.
I wanted to ask: do any of you guys have experience returning to swimming after a hernia operation? Any tips for me?

if you have ever had a groin pull of any kind you know how much those hurt and how long they take to heal, I would rather err on the side of too much time than not enough, no sense in ripping out the repair and being in a bunch more pain.
