I imagine there will be several swims to talk about at this meet.
Who would have thought that Peirsol would really get challenged in the 2back with an actual chance of being out touched at trials - I will absolutely die if that happens. I think/hope this will be good for him. It should light a fire under him that maybe wasn't burning as high in the last couple of years. No doubt he knew that Lochte or Phelps (or Rogan) could challenge him but to actually have Lochte break the record and Phelps breathing down his neck is different.
I can't wait to see what kinda time he pops off. His 200 free was a strong 1:50. He's also swimming the 2fly, which I can't wait to see.
