Dara just one the national title in the 100M Freestyle in 54.4 at the ripe old age of 40. Simply Incredible. :applaud: :woot:
If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.

As I posted earlier....just like Kicker Vencill.....his + test result was due to a supplement that he was taking that had a banned substance in it.....DOES NOT matter how it got there.....he found through the whole process that YES he and ONLY he is responsible for what goes in his body.
He sued the company and won....all that did was lower his ban to 2 years.

Yes George---and it comes in the way of - test results! Why on earth do we have standards that EVERYONE MUST ABIDE BY or they are found guilty? Heck, if we cannot trust the results then why they heck are they in place?
As far as the Hardy deal goes--heck, her coach had two other swimmers under his coaching that tested + and Hardy also tested +, so why make these lame excuses that she was clean? Look at every single athlete that tested + over the years and see clearly they ALL say, "Oh no, it was not me it must have been the test or the supplement I was taking." Everyone has to be responsible for what they put into their system--and Hardy is being held responsible for her actions!
Wow Tracy---you are venturing into some seriously off limits stuff there my friend....:)
By the way---VO2MAX SHAMPOO IS A BANNED SUBSTANCE---The regulatory bodies know full well that swimmers can finish their races before they even start if they use this PED---HONEST!

I did not say she was clean. I did say or should say she may not be responsible. The fault could have resulted in her receiving false information.
George:
I understand your point--and I have to tell you as straight as I can that I do not agree.
I know a Gold Medal Olympic Swimmer from Athens very well and have known this swimmer since the swimmer was a young kid. This swimmer is 100% committed and fanatical in taking NOTHING that could possibly be tainted with PED. In fact, this swimmer goes to great lengths to ensure that NOTHING illegal enters their system.
All to often we see the blame game and finger pointing that everyone but THEM is guilty for this junk ending up in their systems. RESPONSIBILITY 101--

You forgot one:
The 1968 Olympics
Could she have thought she was in the clear after the first test?
Very interesting scenario, good point. If this drug clears quickly and she thought she was only getting tested once, that could explain the order of her test results. Well done, inspector!
As scyfreestyler posted, the drug is not controlled by the Controlled Substances Act. Therefore she did not commit a crime.
Is there any infraction associated with getting a prescription for something not allowed in the US (lets just assume it is not allowed) or for obtaining a prescription for purposes other than the drug's intended benefit? I'm just asking, not making any statement here.
