I like him too and until I read this article (yesterday) I had absolute faith that he was clean. Now, my faith is shaken, but only slightly, because I can't seem to get over my impression that Lemond is a bit of a whiner and that he's jealous of Armstrong's achievements. The one piece of that article that made it something other than Lemond against the world, was the bit about the woman who was in Armstrong's hospital room when he supposedly admitted to using EPO.
The biggest thing to jump out at me from that article was this:

Along with the lead that is still in his body, he is quite likely to go after anyone and still feel paranoid no matter what security he has around him. I say this from someone who knows a little about lead poisoning. My mom had it and it turned her into a raving lunatic for years. She got hers from simply being a weapons instructor for the L.A.County Sheriffs Dept.
I thought they were mostly doping with EPO and blood transfusions, not steroids.

I do beleive the exemption he had was for cancer treatment! And the French really loved Lance for dominating "their" tour every year!!!!!
