Dara just one the national title in the 100M Freestyle in 54.4 at the ripe old age of 40. Simply Incredible. :applaud: :woot:
If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.

A positive A and B sample is beyond a shadow of a doubt to me. Elite athletes know the world in which they live. They know enough to report any medication they are taking. They know enough to be wary of supplements. What more proof do you need George?
I agree with George. What more is needed is that due process must run it's course. They have (allegedly) gathered the evidence and now she must be "tried" (have her hearings) and found guilty. Should that occur, she would be a dirty cheater and more than worthy of any contempt and legal penalties placed on her. Until then, she is innocent, albeit on very shaky ground. There have been too many screw-ups by the various drug testing agencies to condemn someone on the grounds of unofficial reports published in the media.
Let's wait to be sure she's a witch before we burn her. (She does float, however. Which means she must weigh as much as a duck, which means...)

Good point. The Landis took so long to run its due course that many people weren't even aware of the final decision by the CAS. You're right in that we shouldn't punish her until the final verdict is in though.
Proof beyond a doubt is required, If there is actaul proof I will believe.

If the glove does not fit don't convict.
And there it is, using OJ as your support. What's next, using Michael Jackson as your expert on child rearing? All credibility has been officially flushed now.
When ever I brought up proven druggies everyone here said the proof was false, or the french drug reports are wrong.
When I brought up drug use by some heroes that was true some here said the test by the french are wrong.
I want proof not some news report where these reporters are guessing.

Which proven druggies did you bring up George? I get the feeling that since you mention the French, you might be referring to Lance Armstrong. Am I correct? How exactly was he proven to have cheated?
I only defend the falsely accussed until proven they used illegal items.
That makes no sense. If you are proven to have used illegal items you have never been falsely accused.
Your stance on Hardy is laughable as is your stance on Clemens.
I say we put this thread on hold until after Dara swims her first race at the Games.
We can argue more later.
I would tend to agree. Although, it will still result in a never ending circle of what if and maybe arguments.
