Most master swimmers are clean because they shower before they enter the pool.
What I find interesting is:
-How easy you can find Clenbuterol (and other products) for sale on the internet, and
-How many discussion forums are devoted to body building and the use of performance enhancing drugs.

Please cite evidence to support these tests as not being reliable. I've asked you 3 times in the past day to support your assertions and you have yet to provide any evidence. So, it's really your opinion, unsupported by fact.

I've said this once before on here......IT DOES NOT MATTER how it got in to her system.........she is ultimately responsible for ALL Supplements taken. Unless someone tied her down and forced it down her throat....she is guilty! Ask Kicker Vencill......after winning his case against the company that "drugged" him he was still suspended for two years!!!! Because, he took the supplement voluntarily!!!!!
The tests they give are more than likely not reliable if their testing was reliable then who knows how many have taken illegal garbage. I did not say she was clean. I did say or should say she may not be responsible. The fault could have resulted in her receiving false information.

What evidence do you have that the current tests are not reliable? The tests seem to be very reliable in that they reveal the use of illegal drugs. Maybe you are trying to say they are not advanced to the point of catching all potential illegal substances, which is not a reliability issue.
She may or may not be responsible? What does that mean? She isn't clean, that is a proven fact. She tested positive. You rant and rave about proof, what more proof do you need? Who else would be responsible for what someone puts in their body?
False information? What are you talking about? It's not like this drug can be legal in the US, it is totally banned. What false information could she have possibly been given that would encourage her to take this?

You are 100% correct. No law, to my limited knowledge exists that makes her - test a criminal offense. Having said that, I believe it should be, based on the money and potential earnings she deprived other clean swimmers.

I do know that criminal and civil courts are not the same.
Clenbuterol is not approved in the USA for use for humans or in livestock but there are not enough inspectors in the USA agriculture dept. to protect against its use. It has been used before in livestock in the USA.

Very interesting scenario, good point. If this drug clears quickly and she thought she was only getting tested once, that could explain the order of her test results. Well done, inspector!
I've read that the drug has a 35 hour half life. I believe that it should clear after four half lives. If she took a dose during the Trials, which would explain the negative/positive/negative sequence of test results for July 1, July 4, and July 6, then she must have been either careless or desperate.
Or she ate some tainted beef from overseas.
