Dara just one the national title in the 100M Freestyle in 54.4 at the ripe old age of 40. Simply Incredible. :applaud: :woot:
If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.
So judges, juries and beliefs actually cause the crime? Or, does the person cause the crime and we have to rely on a very imperfect system that uses some concrete evidence and some opinion to convict or acquit? And I suppose O.J. didn't murder Nicole since the jury said so. I, again, assert that the crime was committed by someone no matter if I believe it was space aliens or O.J. My beliefs don't change what happened. And I readily admit that WE MAY NEVER REALLY KNOW who did it. I also admit that I have wondered if O.J. is guilty! My belief doesn't make it so!!!
Precisely. I have yet to see any of this so far. Plenty of opinion though.
Opinions are like rectums. Everybody has one...and they all stink.
Now how did that happen???? I guess i pushed save twice.
Thought I might add there was something flying around in my garbage in Mexico, I know it for a fact even though I did not see them flying. The evidence maggots in the garbage.
Uh...show me where I am sure about anything? If anything you are SURE that she didn't do anything. I'm just wondering. Jeez...this isn't that difficult. Do you think Dara has never wondered if other swimmers have doped? Sure she has. But she doesn't let it affect her precisely because she doesn't run around deciding guilt or innocence based on her beliefs!
That was not really directed towards you, per se. It was directed towards anybody who thinks she is doping.
I go to Church because of a belief there may be a god. It does not mean there is a god.
If it comes down to what I really believe is true I am not going to say.
My older brother said in a prayer when his son was on death bed, he was an atheist. God save my son and I will believe in you. He did not believe in god before and after the prayer.
Noodles Romanoff,
Great MASTER'S SUCCESS...... now that's funny...... sounds more like a contradiction in terms to me ..... :-)
"....... being made by a few individuals who likely achieved great collegiate and masters success ....."

You have previously admitted your steadfast belief in your Canadian national hero Ben Johnson until he was proven a total fraud a liar. Therefore, your track record speaks for itself on this matter. Further, you continue to dispute everything McNamee has stated, despite the fact that every single allegation about other athletes has been testified to as truth by those very athletes. You have also said you believe all athletes should be allowed and encouraged to take drugs. Your credibility is therefore shot on this topic.
The honest discussion of this matter is interesting, the hyperbole and nonsense you bring is not. I stuck with Ben until it was proof positive. It seems none like you can stand behind a superb athlete like DT.
I will stand up any time for Clemens, a person I really dislike personality wise, until really proven guilty.
Would you stand up for Clemens if it was a test made by the French on Lance???
Hey lets go down to fourteen, everyone who has a faster time after age fourteen has to be tested.
Um, if you are over 14, or over 12 or whatever and compete in certain meets you are tested. Heck, my 8 year old had to sign a "no alcohol, no tobacco, no drugs" agreement for her year round team, although I did forge her name.
Don't believe anything you hear or read and only half of what you see.
I remember and have said this one before. I entered a race and saw the times that several US swimmers had marked on their entry forms. As a matter of fact one of the times was a new American record for 100 yards freestyle. I beat him in the 100 final and it was nowhere near his record time. All I want are the facts.
Huh??? So for you life is black and white? Yes or no as an easy definitive answer to every question? Do you not allow yourself to ask questions about things? That's all I'm doing. Admitting that I don't know and that I do wonder. BIG DIFFERENCE. If you can't see that I don't know how to help you!
Not even wondering about those who are "fast". Mostly about those who are exceedingly great who stand to benefit financially/career-wise from that greatness. Just wondering. Not willing to assert that I know one way or another.
