What, huh? Working out and paying a bunch of trainers makes you a positive mother? Is that the only requirement? She has a part time job training for the Olympics, that's pretty much the sum total of it all.
Since she has herself acknowledged the skepticism how exactly by discussing it are we tainting her?
I would also like to point out that this forum has a history of questioning purported achievements, along with praising them. Not sure why this topic should be off limits.

Not everyone is bad. In fact, the majority of people choose to be good, most of the time.
Quite simply, Dara Torres does not deserve this slander. If anyone has earned the role of positive mother, it's her. At the of the day, the only proof of anything tainted has been preserved on this thread.
Why has she, "if anyone," "earned" the role of positive mother exactly? I don't think she's doing anything exceptional in this area. Just doing her mom job like the rest of the world.

Unfortunately, this seems to be largely rhetorical.
Since there is no real proof positive means of determining her guilt or innocence, you are probably correct.
The deciding factor for me is that Dara seems genuinely nice. Of course, so did Marion Jones. I actually root for Clemens to get caught in his lie (if he is lying). I especially love to remember his little temper tantrum in which he threw the end of Mike Piazza's broken bat at him as he ran to first base. Clemens is a 40 year old punk and I hope he is cheating and gets caught so that I can have a true reason to discount his amazing baseball achievements. I didn't wish that on Marion Jones and I don't wish it on Dara Torres either, unless of course, I find out that she's a Yankees fan!!!
The 'Stud is right. Nothing I can say will make the pessimists of this thread start believing Dara, just like there is nothing that the pessimists can say that will dissuade me from believing in Dara. I prefer to be an optimist just because that's who I am.
