The good news is that my times for the 500 and the 1000 this year made the top ten for the 55-59 age group.
The bad news is that I'm 49.

Yeah, North Carolina sucks.
I never said that. I had a fantastic coach, a supportive (super-) team and a great training partner (Mark Doyle).
But the barbeque is better here.
