I see that you can't get the old style of speedo goggles (big roundish lenses with foam pads, plastic noisepiece with adjustment notches, rubber strap). I'm kind of disappointed because that was the kind I always used, and my current pair are wearing out. I tried a couple new styles of goggles that I'm not completely happy with, like 'speedo vanquisher'. what exactly was wrong with the old style and why did they have to go and change it? they were cheap, comfortable, functional, and you could get replacement parts like new straps when the old one wore out.
Probably not. I think the "old style" refers to Speedo Super Pro which have a larger eyepiece that fits on the outside of the eye socket. They were great for comfort, but you couldn't dive with them. The pair I'm using are scratched and fog badly, but I won't give them up until the foam gasket deteriorates. If anyone knows where to find them, please post.
Leader also makes a version of the old school Speedos and they sometimes have them at Walmart, believe it or not. I like them even better than the Speedo Sprint but use them sparingly as they are difficult to find. I have tried many new ones as well but to no avail.
