I've still got my buzz from Austin, and I had to come home early today (Sunday). What a fantastic meet. How can you beat swimming as both a participatory AND a spectator sport?
And the post-swimming revelry was healthy as well. I thought it was only girls that peed their pants when they laughed. I've had enough belly laughs to last me quite some time.
Howdy Everyone! Just wanted to drop my first line and say thanks for a great 1st Nationals. It had been 15+ years since I was at the Texas Swim Center and it felt great to be back in a sport that I love so much and around people that feel the same way I do!
Entry Fees to USMS Nationals: $100.00
Airline Ticket to Austin, TX: $191.00
Room at the Double Tree: $300.00
Dinner at Moonshine discussing the stretching ability of other swimmer: PRICELESS!
