Just curious, how many people are usually at LC Nats? I'm assuming less than SCY Nats, since fewer people swim LC?
You can view the location and attendance figures for every USMS championship meet (both LC and SC) on page 186 of the USMS Rule Book. View it here:

The first SC Nationals was held in 1970 in Amarillo, Texas. Forty-six swimmers competed. The first LC Nationals was held in 1972 in Bloomington, Indiana, with 188 swimmers in attendance.
