Can anyone recommend an underwater video camera or where to look to purchase one? Is digital available? Team wants to start taping swimmers but we don't know where to look to buy camera or best one, etc Any tips, ideas, recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

Swim video tools
a friend offered to photo me swimming (from the deck) and while i was checking out the pdf manual for their (digital) Kodak P850 i noticed it has a "burst" mode (which takes a series of shots, like capturing a golf swing, or a full swim stroke cycle). i'm pretty excited about trying this, i think it will be an extremely useful tool for stroke analysis.
anyone have any direct experience they'd like to share on this? (as well as vid camera use, especially the Snooper that has been repeatedly mentioned.)
the USMS Snooper loan/rental sounds like quite a deal.
this Snooper sales page has a lot more technical info about the camera and its use.
as for capturing the source the options are:
7. Connecting the Video signal: To see what the Snooper is viewing, you must connect the RCA or phono jumper cable plug to a VCR, TV or cam-corder....
(7.B. sounds like a really practical setup)
i reckon with the right vid card you could capture the signal directly to a PC. has anyone tried this?
