Hello, my name is Vlad I am 21 years old from Bellevue, WA. Just got on this site cuz im startin to get back into swimmin and might have some random questions to ask at times. I swam for 8years and then gave it up, cuz i guess i just got burnt out, and or didnt like it, but i gave it up.. But now im tryin to get back into shape and the only thing i know is how to swim. I was in amazing shape when I swam, i never went to the gym or nothin. Its kind of messed up, i looked better when i was 16-17 then I do now. But now, i wanna get back into shape and I feel as if like swimming would be the best for me ___________________________________________________ so my question is Back 2 swimming routine I started swimming when I was 9 and quit when i was around 16-17.. Never really got into it; but Im tryin to get back into shape and I HATE RUNNING and i still remember everything that the swim coach taught me So my question is; What should I swim, or what routine should I do, to have all my muscles be working and to get that full body workout. Cuz i swam today and was just swimmin freestyle and ***-stoke and Im guessin that if i kept on doin that, only certain muscles are working.. And a random question IM'S ; whats the order to an IM is it freestyle, backstroke, ***-stroke, butterfly (i forgot)

I recently started back in the water after several years off and I found that if I try to make up my own workouts, I tend to do the same thing over and over again. I started printing some workouts from the workout section, and really have liked them. They keep things more mixed up and entertaining. Personally, I like the iterval based ones forums.usms.org/forumdisplay.php The nice thing here is there are workouts for all levels without having to think.
