Your Favorite Course

All of the above! Where there's water, there's swimming... it's all good.:groovy: My experience and its ups and downs: SCY: this is my usual venue, since my Y is less than a mile from where I live, and it works well enough, unless the lanes are very crowded with swimmers not in sync w/ one another's speed choices. Also it takes me the least amount of time to complete a length. LCM: had only one experience with this... the plus side: it was outdoors and I don't often get to swim in outdoor long course pools... felt closer to nature... but wondered how many hours it would take to reach the other side ;) --and after doing a bunch of fifties in practice and getting my times down, the LCM 50 was very, very humbling. Open water: Love open water although it's kind of a challenge to swim straight there--enjoy the variety of conditions... None of the "lane politics" of my daily swims... but of course one does need to be careful in race starts.... Haven't dealt w/ SCM, so can't comment there
