Last summer we were at Lake Tahoe for our annual summer vacation, camping at Meeks Bay. We rented a boat, and motored down to Emerald Bay. Just as we were entering the bay, but before the "no wake" zone, my wife said "look at that dog in the water, swimming across...". I said, "dogs don't usually have round ears... that's a bear!". And sure enough, it was a young bear swimming across from the south side of the bay to the north, in between boats and kayaks. And headed right for a small beach and some unsuspecting sunbathers...:rofl: I have a picture somewhere!
