FS Pro Comments

Anyone else get one of the new FS Pro's? I bought a legsuit, wore it for my 100 fly at nationals and didn't really like it. When I first put it on, it didn't stretch to cover most of my leg, and it certainly barely fit over my rear. But performance-wise, I had a bubble inside the suit during the 100 fly. Needless to say, the 2-year old FS2 made an appearance for the 200 free. So who else bought one of these things? What do you think? Did you have the same issues?

  • I noticed that Speedo has the old male FS suits on sale - ($72 for full body) and ($75 for the knee length). www.speedousa.com - check for sales. These suits are for males - they did not appear to have any FS for females ;{ Personally, I really wish they would put the zipper in the front. I had a Victor suit with the front zipper. It felt like a paper suit and I had some great swims with the suit. Unfortunately, they went out of business and my suit was stolen. I am curious about the suit weight and performance. Has anyone else noticed that these technical suits (when wet) seem to hold significant amounts of water and gain weight? To me, this is an interesting paradox - will a heavier suit enhance or hinder performance? Philipp
