I noticed Jeff was listening to a CD Walkman between his races. Can we get a collection together to get that man an iPod? It ain't right for someone that fast to be stuck with stone age technology! :D
Speaking of fast swimming, it was sort of interesting that Anthony Ervin didn't really stick out. It was actually cool he was just another swimmer. I saw him and his team at the pool every day and it looked like they were enjoying themselves, got in a few relays, etc. Hopefully that experience gave Anthony a taste of what masters swimming is all about. We like to talk about all the fast swims, but really it's just going out there and swimming your best and seeing faces you haven't seen for a while. That's what makes Nationals fun.
Did anyone get a chance to talk to Anthony at all?
