OK, OK I know that entries don't close until Thursday at midnight PDT. However, I've never been the first one to post this question, so I'm jumping at the chance. It's not often that I'm out in front of ALL other swimmers. We can just look on this as the discussion forum equivalent of leaving early on repeat sets!
And besides...
As always, psych sheets will be posted when they are ready. We still have a number of "problem" entrants to work out - membership not verified, birth dates or club affiliation disagreeing with the registration database...
As punishment, Jim will probably re-seed me to swim with his age group.
Hey, consider this to be one last reminder from someone outside the organizing committee.

Oh no, Jim, not that. Anything but the 50s! I promise to behave myself for a few weeks more.
Anyhow, even when I signed up for the 100 BR I could feel myself morphing into one of the Smith Bros (or their grandfather in my case). Tugged toward the dark side of swimming where the goal is to be out of the water before you ever clear the starting blocks.
NO SPRINTING EVER!

I know we're still a ways out from having psych sheets, but I am curious what the numbers are looking like in terms of total swimmers. Anyone have any idea yet?
It would, indeed, be needless Peter. Remember that Federal Way is close enough to NoNoImo that we can find you to teach you a lesson if we feel like it.

1400 will be a small meet. Looks like our sixth events should be safe.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, especially for a west coast meet. Perhaps I need to get on the horn with Hugh and beg for a 7th event (200 fly).
At this point, we have over 1400 swimmers. There are still a number of problem entries that need to be cleaned up before pysch sheets can be posted.
Note: Mel Dyck's events have been switched to all sprints as part of the clean up process.
