    Indeed. I defy anyone to name a single track athlete who trained that much at that age and later went on to have any real career as an adult. The wear and tear of running is different than it is in swimming plus one peaks later in track than in swimming. That poor kid has 20 years before she hits her prime and she will never make it. If you can get a bet on her making it at the top level later on, take it at any odds. The parents are delusional. -LBJ
