Slovenian swam the Amazon?

I just read that an older Slovenian man swam about 50 miles/day for 65 days to complete the Amazon? I'm sorry, I don't quite believe it... Opinions?

Look him up--he's amazing. Martin Strel. Maybe a little crazy, but he's done similar swims for several years. He's hardcore to the max.
