Last year I swam the 50m long course free in 30.5
The conversion charts convert that to about 26.5 for
50 yard short course free, but I'm about 27.9 on this.
I think I'm losing time on my turn. How long should turn
take? Thanks.
I know that today, they even have different conversions depending on the stroke!
They have to because freestyle and back allow flip turns and you have to do open turns for fly and ***. Since there are half the number of turns in long course versus short course you'll "lose more time" in free and back for LC swims compared to fly and ***.
