Things to do in the water other than "just swim laps"

Here are some things I'm particularly enjoying:
-- doing a deep dive off the board, trying to touch then bottom, and then dolphin kicking back to the surface
-- doing a bunch of flip turns in a row "on the spot" in the water, rather than off the wall
-- anything involving attempting to recover an object (e.g. brick)
-- anything involving a pole
What are your little quirky things? Or is everyone here so busy training that no one has any fun in the water?
I love watching my kids play in the pool, as well as our German Shepherd puppy. He's 18 months, and who knew, is more of a water dog than any Lab I've ever seen! He's hysterical. He jumps ALL the way across the width of the pool, about 8 feet, chasing whatever's been thrown in! Unfortunately, he's still at the chewing stage and has eaten all of the noodles, popped all of the balls and even mangled the floating basketball hoop. Needless to say that anything floaty never had a chance!
**Please don't confuse this post with the last one. I don't have nookie in the pool with my German Shepherd (or my kids for that matter! EW!) :(
Waterslide.
Last meet, cooldown included three trips down the waterslide. Fortress claimed she was too old to partake in the fun. Self-depricating party pooper. :thhbbb:
WOW!! There's other things you can do in the water other than swimming laps???
LOL - I've been adding vertical kicks and 'Pool ups" to my workout.
Kids play under water tea party - Updated version is pizza party
and they tried zero gravity - they like it- but its hard not to float to the top.
