This past Sunday on the CBC Network in Canada they showed the press conference after the World Championships were over. Thorpe seemed really ticked off about this and the timing of the story during the Championships. He said his reputation has been tarnished and he is contemplating legal action. He said he went to enjoy the swimming championships and since he was there the press have been bugging him about this just like they have been bugging him about things before he retired. He said he picks up newspapers and they are calling him Thorcheato instead of Thorpedo. I have provided a link to the press conference.
