Greetings,
This is my first post, but I have been reading for a few months. I swim with the Shawangunks Masters in New York - with Dave Barra and Terry Laughlin.
I am taking a cross country road trip this spring and I am planning on visiting a masters swim team wherever I am able. So if you know of a team that I absolutely must visit, let me know. Tips on cheap lodging are also welcome.
I will be swimming at zones at GMU in April, so will look forward to meeting some of you there.
So far my trip includes the following places:
Chicago, Kansas City, Boulder, Las Vegas, San Diego. I'll probably be visting the San Franisco and Davis areas as well as Seattle and I don't know what else because the plan is quite flexible once I am out there.
If people are interested I will keep a log of where I am and what teams I have swum with. Let me know what you think.
See you soon.

I'd love to read a log of your trip :)
Walnut Creek in the SF Bay Area is a must ;) Five workouts a day, except on Friday (no evening), and many Saturdays. You can check out swim4wc@netscape.net. The only cost is the pool entrance fee: $3.50 I think. I'm not too sure because I buy the Master's monthly pass.
It'd be fun to meet you, and everybody here is really nice. We just had a great Saturday workout with John from Kentucky. Nice guy. FAST!
Perhaps one day, when the kids are grown, a tour of pools would be a fun trip to do. Of course, I'll have to complete my tour of baseball stadiums first!
