We just saw the greatest meet in the history of swimming. Incredible facility, fans, world records, unmatched competitiveness and diversity in all events.
A meet not to be forgotten by Lochte anytime soon either. Two WR's in one night...200 Back and the 4 x 200 Free Relay.
Really a less than stellar meet for the Longhorn team. Hansen was sick, Peirsol lost his WR, and Crocker lost "his race" and DQ'ed in another.
Neil Walker also was off his game. All in all with the exception of Phelps, Lochte, Peirsol's 100 back, Wildman-Tobriner and Vanderkaay, the men were definitely not as on as the women. Of course, since Michael and Ryan had so many races, it was easy to overlook the fact that the others were not on.
