I was struck by how much shorter and faster Manaudou's stroke was than Lurz's.

She is hot and fast, wouldn't throw her out of my lane. AJ AJ, you don't have to worry about that cause there probably isn't a lane fast enough in your (or my) pool for said Freestyle Queen... donna

Jim, there's a little publicized study done at the Councilman Center where tongue piercings were tested. I was looking at the videos of Laure Manaudou on Youtube, and I noticed that although she is obviously blazing fast, she didn't seem to get a whole lot of distance off of her turns the way so many other elite swimmers do? Has anyone else ever noticed that? She also seems to have a pretty fast turn over rate in her stroke for a distance freestyler IMO. In each video I saw though (the 200 free, a 400 free video from another meet, and the 800 free) she was totally kicking butt on the rest of the field. In the 400 free video and 800 free video I saw, she was way out in front of the rest of the pack. It just seems a little strange to me how she was kicking such massive butt and at the same time not looking as if she was doing very much SDKing off of the turns? Just an interesting observation thats all. Newmastersswimmer p.s. Rich, I think you should shave your head for zones and have that swim cap in your avatar tatooed to your head. What do you think?
