Maybe I will make the list next year for long distance open water :rofl::rofl:. I was a timer for Jim's 1500M at LCM nationals when they were in mission viejo in 2005. He broke the 400 and 800 meter world record times during that swim. He also stopped mid pool around 925M splitting a 1:20 on that 100(he was holding 1:09/1:10's). He recovered and still broke the world record for the 1500M holding 1:10's the rest of the way. When he finished I asked him why he stopped in the middle of the pool earlier in the race.
