  • I'm going to agree with Kirk about Rich Abrahams. The guy broke a world record in a 50 by nearly 1.5 seconds. Yes, a 50... not a 400 or 800... He's amazing. Other men I'd pick: Paul Smith, Graham Johnston, Bob Strand, Dennis Baker Women: Susan von der Lippe (this is my top female pick - I remember watching her race at SCNats... WOW), Laura Val, Dara Torres, Sheri Hart, Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen This is for a US list...and there are so many good swimmers to pick from... sure I missed a bunch. Not sure who I'd pick for a World masters list, but Rich Abrahams and Susan von der Lippe would both still need to be on it!!!
