This appeared today in the Phila Inquirer. I liked it because the situation demonstrates the power of team sports and shared goals, and no matter how slow you swim, it only matters that you swam as fast as you can go.

Thanks for posting this Barb--it's a great article! I had a look at it in my paper, and I'm glad you reminded people of it! Nice also to see it on the front page of the Inquirer. Too many bad news stories that stay bad news. Good to see something positive!

It is always wonderful to read such stories; there aren't enough of these types of real life events in the news; much of the news is great unhappiness nowadays because it sells.
Standing strong and together in great time of need, needs to be more on people's minds.
We have a saying in Texas: Shoulders Together.
