Goggles for kids

For those of you with swimming children: what goggle have you found that fits best and leaks the least for small faces? I need to replace my daughter's (she's almost 7 and on the petite side). The Speedo pair she had worked great but, you guessed it, they don't make them anymore. I've brought home a few different pairs for her try, but so far none fit very well and thus leak like sieves. What has worked well for your little swimmer? Thanks - Barb (If I find some that work, I'm buying a case).
  • Hydrospex Jrs work well for my 8 year old daughter.

I gave my eldest daughter a pair of Speedo Vanquisher Plus goggles that I had in my bag...I always keep a spare. Anyhow, she is rather petite and 7 years old.

Speedo Womens Vanquishers. Long lasting, fog free, and they come in pink and lavender. The mirrored outer coating makes them "look cool".

Jr Vanquishers, Jr Hydrospex, Sengar Jr, Futurity Jr - all Speedo. Jr Hydrospex is by far the most popular.

I have five and seven year old daughters, and Speedo Kids Hydrospex work well for them. They are a bit smaller than the Hydrospex Jr.

My 10 year-old son was wearing the Speedo X-Flex and they were great, but then we could only get them in "girlie" colors (hot pink & baby blue), so he switched to the Senegars (not the jr. size). Both goggles have one piece construction which seems to work well for smaller faces. The Senegar style is the goggle of choice for some of the youngest swimmers on the team I work with (one of the girls is 6 and wears the regular size).

I bumped this up as I finally found goggle success for my 6 year old: TYR Swimples. They're a really flexible frame, small eye socket, one-strap design. Work like a charm. Thanks for all your input. We tried a lot of goggles getting here.
  • Mine is 14 and still is wearing Hydrospex Juniors. In fact I wore them for a while too, but have switched to Vanquishers.
