I have heard there is an elite swimmer of 10y girl from the States who did 25sec in 50m free event!!
Wow! Could please someone tell me who she is??
Thank you very much.
Could you please tell mean what does "NAG" mean here? And why the girl next is rank #1??
NAG is "National Age Group," as in this is the National Age Group record for girls 9-10. It looks like Lia Neal has the NAG record with a 24.90 set in 2005. The next girl was probably the number one girl for the current season.
If you go to USA swimming
Click on Times/Time Standard
Under FIND A TIME
Click 3. Event Rank
You can then play with the screen options and search for current times. That is where you will see this years fast 10 year old or whatever else you want to search on.
STARS list two, but the first is an 8 year old relay split, so I tend to think there was some pad stomping of kids cheering during the relay.
You can pull up times by going to the USA swimming website and going to their times/timestandard links. I prefer not to list the names of 10 year olds here.
Thanks, Dorothy.
As per your suggestion, I have paid a vissit to times/time standards in USA swim web site.
And I did find a doc of girls/SCY under 2006-2007 Top Times. The 1st line is
NAG 24.90 Neal, Lia 10 MR 983 Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics
12/8/2005 2005 NI STAR Short Course Invite
Could you please tell mean what does "NAG" mean here? And why the girl next is rank #1??
Thank you for your further clarification.
