I have always been pro-coach even had a couple that walked a fine line to abuse from my perspective, but given what this great coach has done, I am much less forgiving than most of you. I think we have all had enough of coaches who do a terrible wrong and only have their reputations ruined. To me, this isn't enough. One thought is how many years did it take for Bobby Knight to finally lose credability, for different reasons. Please remember, I am originally from Texas and Texas is pretty darn hard on any crime at all. Just so you know where my thinking comes from, we all know Texas not only has the death penalty, but they actually use it, and there is legislation now that if there are 3 witnesses to a homicide, the person convicted gets the express lane, goes to the top of that list. I am not writing this because I necessarily condone what Texas does, all I am saying is we have very little patience for any crime or infraction however small, so this is why I think Kenny deserves a substantial penalty. It will be interesting to see what the findings of the investigation are.
