    I agree. He seems like an ego maniac to me. Very selfish....not a good characterisitic for a coach. :shakeshead: I agree Beth and I know the man, as well as many others who start out coaching for all the right reasons and after getting to the top and staying there more than not, the God Complex comes through. And what many forget is it is not necessarily the Coach who makes these swimmers great, it is their natural abilities, drive, dedication, sacrifice, and hard work. Making a swimmer great takes both people and not just one should get all the adoration. I hope the Stanford swimmers KNOW how good they and will perform to the best of their abilities and training, with or without Skip. See? No one stays on a pedestal for long. donna
