Well inspired by ande's blog...I have created my own...just mine isn't on this site...I've made a blogger.com one, because I am regularly on there for class and my personal blogging. I think having a journal, where I write my workouts/feelings and physical feelings of the day might be a good way to really track my progress and keep me on track. I have an actual hard copy-paper copy of my workout journal, but I think also taking the time to write about how the sets felt and how I am feeling about meets coming up and my overall fitness might be an additional benefit.
So feel free to check it out and leave me comments if you so desire...the addy is: swimbeyond.blogspot.com/

I am going to the Maryland meet. But I'm not in a taper or anything, so starting today I will back-off on the intensity of my workout, but not necessarily the yardage until tomorrow and Friday will just be a long swim. I didn't have a very good base from the season as one might have thought--i think that was a major component on why my times did not come down this season, I just never got in shape. So I am more focused on getting back where I should have been strenght and fitness wise than I am tapering and getting ready for meets. Hopefully my times at this meet will be decent just because I have been working hard and such. :-D
thanks for reading!
