Now, being in the Chicago area, I can barely stand Lake Michigan on some days in summer..... He swam for 1 hr in the cold water AFTER surviving a plane crash!

Yeah, I saw the interview on CNN (or some similar station)... it's amazing that this kid is still on this Earth.
What an awesome athlete... had fun watching him at the Olympics.
