I posted this link on the SPL thread as well.....check out Crockers 100 free (along with Brunelli & Lezak) that Ande mentions....note that none of these guys are shaved/tapered.....incredible amount of power, dps, sdk.....another sport really! www.youtube.com/watch What strikes me the most about this video is how much Crocker blows away the field "underwater" during his streamlining off of the start and off of the turns....he is the last guy to to breakout from the underwater streamlines "by far" compared to the rest of the field.....This goes to show that the myth that you need to breakout sooner on sprints is just a myth IMO. You always go faster underwater than on top of the water (provided you are in a sufficiently streamlined position and you still have sufficient momentum underwater). I think Crocker must have awesome underwater SDK abilities (maybe b/c he is a butterflyer and just has an amazing dolphin kick??)....but he stayed underwater much longer than everyone else and he went much further underwater than everyone else.....very interesting! Thanks for posting that Paul. What did you think of that 15 year old girl Mary Beck from Longhorn Aquatics who won the 100 back in 53.7 and won the 200 back in 1:54.3? ....that is also mindblowing stuff!! Newmastersswimmer

I wonder how fast ian is at swimming freestyle, kind of looks like the other guys start to catch him on freestyle but ian pulls way ahead on the breakout. Look at his first storkes off the break outs, it appears that heshoots forward really fast. so much power.
