the next generation of speedo high tech suits is being released very soon. I don't know how it can be better than the fs II. I think its just a way for speedo to make more money. www.timedfinals.com/.../ I hope the price of the fs 2 goes down becasue of the new suit.

Oh No – not yet another version of Speedo’s Fastskin (or any other company’s) brand of so called “technical suit”. The idea of swimming with your entire body covered with water repellent material is totally antithetical to the whole concept of this sport. :shakeshead: In addition to the loss of sensation of being in the water, these suits are a total hassle to put on and take off. One of the main problems with getting people involved in athletics (especially ordinary P.E.) is reducing the “annoyance factor” of stripping and changing into and (out of) just a simple gym uniform. Requiring more elaborate (and uncomfortable) athletic wear just makes this problem even worse. If I had to wear one of these technical suits (instead of conventional briefs) when I was on my high school swim team back in the late 60’s, I would have absolutely never taken up swimming at all. My advice, if we want to encourage people to get into swimming, let’s keep it comfortable. Dolphin 2 :)
