I was just curious to what other swimmers think about getting in the hot tub for a couple minutes before practice. I swim everyday but Sundays are my really easy days. I did some hard workouts this week so I was pretty tired today when I went to swim. Before getting in the water I decided to hop in the jacuzzi for a few minutes, which I've never done before practice. I only did 2,000 but I felt really relaxed and in control of my stroke. I was easily taking 12 strokes per 25 (scy) instead of 13-14 which I normally take. I've never heard anything good or bad about so that's why I'm asking.
I personnally feel the hot tub is better for after workout than before workout. Really helps loosen those overworked muscles, otherwise you are diving into a cold pool after being in a nice hot tub and just stiffen up.
