My swimming nickname was, it is now extrodinarly unfitting, was Speed King.
My age group coach back in the day heard a funny story what is was I really do not remember but at some point in the story was the line "Are you reasy speed king?" He asked me that before every event and from then on it stuck. Only my swimming friends used that one.
Now a fitting nick name now for me would be anchor, as in sink like one.
