what are your opinions on them? i'm thinking of buying one and just using it for competitions...

I've had a few (female), and they seem to be fine. I don't think they last quite as long as some of the big-name brands, but at half the price, that's okay. I wouldn't recommend their polyester suits, though - mine didn't fit quite right, and the inside lining started shrinking after 6-9 months.
