I propose a thread honoring old age in which each person lists their current physical ailments and general excuses that prevent them from beating people like Paul Smith and Rich Saeger.
I will lead with a growing list of my own.
1. Shoulder pain
2. Heart palpatations
3. High cholesterol
4. Left hip stress fracture
5. Lower back pain (from shoveling snow!)
6. Wife and 3 kids.
Perhaps we can give an award to the winner and the biggest whiner at the end of this thread.

I'm going to make mine short because power is still up and running for the moment and so is this internet cafe, so I'd better get to it:
Age 59 now
Aches and Pains: see list below
full left knee replacement
previously broken right ankle
previously broken both wrists, forearms and hands (at same time)
torn SI joint; the 3rd cortizone injection finally helped
two left shoulder surgeries (1993, 1995) impingement and rotator
probably about 30 pounds overweight (totally my fault)
And today while swimming in the ocean in 4 foot seas, I got hit in the head by debris (a piece of lumber). Guess I'll have to start swimming with a helmet when the ocean is angry. But no damage done to this head that I know of, if I get goofy later on this evening, then I'll re-think the lumber in head incident.:rofl:
