What is the connection between time of “swim25+kick 25 and swim 50”

Hi all!
I have got a question…
4 strokes RESPECTIVELY, short course, have someone swim 25, get timed, rest 2-3 minutes, then kick 25, get timed.
What is the point we should look into for 4 STROKES, if
Time of swim 25 + time of kick 25 > time of swim 50
Time of swim 25 + time of kick 25 = time of swim 50
Time of swim 25 + time of kick 25

I mean what kind of defect does the swimmer have should they fall into one of the categories above?? The pull?? the kick?? or the swim??
