From a prior thread in the Administrator posts, you can only use the selectable avatars until you reach 30 posts, then you can upload your own avatar if it is below a certain size.
(Some of these folks must update theirs about every hour by the looks of things! :p )

Didnt realize I also needed to get over a certain threshold in number of posts as well before I would even have a personal avatar as an option. I was told this fact before but when reaching this threshold nothing happend....but now this morning... it works...I guess it was just a lag in the system.
And now as you all can see to the left...it works :)
