Hey
So, I am kind of new on here, I've been here for a month or so, but I still feel new here, I do not know anyone, and no one knows me! I am sure there are other people on here who are newer as well, and would like to meet all you long time members:-D
So I propose we start a thread just introducing yourself and maybe saying a thing or two about yourself, where your from, what you swim, whatever information you would like to share with the group:wave:
Hopefully, this isn't a completely lame idea?
no pets. no kids
OK, this explains why you've got so much time to go to practice, swim in the lake, conduct clinics, coach USS kids, go to ART, go to yoga and x-c ski and have "mental endurance." Nice.
Peter:
I would just like to point out that there were, in fact, free massages given at Colonies Zones last year. :thhbbb: There was a hot tub right there. You could get coffee upstairs. Great hotels nearby. Lots of parking. Lots of lockers. Lots of nearby restaurants. (No Cheesecake Factory that I know of though.) Prompt results. (I'm sure anyone who was interested looked up their competitor's times.) Nice medals. Energy bars and other food for sale. No hot water in the women's locker room though... That always sucks. With your past history of galavanting around the world, you could just come here and swim! Just a short jaunt.:D
I would still prefer afternoon meets. But the Albatross meet is the only one I know of around here. But at least we agree that 7:45 am is highly undesirable as a start time. No thanks. Busy anyway that weekend.
