Hey
So, I am kind of new on here, I've been here for a month or so, but I still feel new here, I do not know anyone, and no one knows me! I am sure there are other people on here who are newer as well, and would like to meet all you long time members:-D
So I propose we start a thread just introducing yourself and maybe saying a thing or two about yourself, where your from, what you swim, whatever information you would like to share with the group:wave:
Hopefully, this isn't a completely lame idea?

I lurk around here a bit so I might as well introduce myself as well. I'm Merritt. I am 25. I grew up swimming in Northern Virginia, but now I am in Los Angeles, CA. I swam at Kenyon College in Ohio and the University of Southern California. I have been swimming Masters for about two years. I swim with any group I can get time with.
In college I was delegated to the sprint freestyle events. I would say mostly because of health issues. Now I do a lot more distance and mid distance. Anything from ocean races to IM. I am out to try new events.
Outside of the pool I am a mechanical engineer. I design turbochargers and I race cars.
